Here’s a transcription for guitar of one of the most impressive of Silvius Leopold Weiss’ many suites for lute.

L'Infidele exists in two sources, the “London” (in the British Library, GB-LblAdd30387) and “Dresden” (Dresde D-Dl2841) manuscripts (missing the title in the latter). Though there are differences in detail, and the order of movements differs, the two versions are largely consistent. However, this transcription is a faithful version of the London manuscript, which to me feels more coherent in its movement ordering, more rhythmically varied, and contains fewer errors (except for an obvious misplaced bar in the musette).
